I am a lifelong fan of WDIV and its news staff. I find all of their staff members to really care about what they do and report about. I do miss some of the old news anchors. But I have found that they were replaced with some who care just as much if not more. I keep this app on every device that I have, WDIV, click on Detroit is very informative and reliable.

I get a push notification for a news alert. When I click on it, I cannot find the news article regarding the push notification referenced. The news article simply disappears. Very frustrating. Update: after several weeks and no one from WDIV answering my emails about this issue, I am using XYZ as my main app for local Detroit news.

Was frequently crashing now it won't even open. 1-11-2025 ads are intrusive and utterly ridiculous for a news app. Push notifications take me to a basically blank screen, videos don't resize. Terrible.
