Honestly, I have an ungodly amount of Japanese language apps. I know how to read, but I've been pushing off Kanji forever now. Not only does this app teach you Kanji in the best way, but finally it's an app that doesn't have a minimum of what you can learn, and it has reading as well. It has it all, I stopped using any other apps I've tried bc it's just too good. I highly recommend it for anyone self-teaching and needing to start on Kanji, plus it still has Hiragana and Katakana stuff. ALL FREE!

When I opened the app, an ad took up the whole bottom screen with something that was very 18+ rated and even pressing the x to close it made more ads of it come up. So I won't be able to use this, unfortunately. Disappointed. :(

Honestly, the pop-up video ads after every tiny lesson make this more or less unbearable to use for a free user. It could be a great app if the ads were much more spaced out and less intrusive.

I like the app, and it really showed lots of informational topics to be aware of. But it certainly has many problems. First, I hate it when the app just auto-closes whenever I try to change my profile picture. And, the app has really bad listening exercises, it sounds so clamped up together. Even if it is an AI or an actual person, it needs to have some sort of improvement.
