Cogitation: Note & Understand

Capture thoughts, ideas and observations with the context of each moment: place, weather, sleep, activity and how you felt. Over time, Cogitation Pro shows what goes with your best days, using an AI that runs on your own device.

It works for you and for what you observe: the daily life of someone you love, a project, even a newly adopted pet. When you want, send a PDF report to someone who supports you, like a therapist or a doctor.

WRITE WITHOUT FRICTION
• Log your mood on a 1 to 10 scale with one tap.
• Attach photos, scan documents or add PDFs.
• Organize notes into folders, each with a category: Thought, Idea, Observation or Other.
• Search all your notes, move notes between folders and see earlier versions of a note.
• Look back at what you wrote on this same day in past years.

THE MOMENT COMES ALONG
• Place and weather are saved with each note.
• With your permission, steps, heart rate, sleep, menstrual cycle and heart rate variability from Health Connect.
• You choose what to collect and can remove any item before saving.

REMINDERS AND WIDGETS
• Reminders per folder, on the days and at the times you pick. If you already wrote in that folder today, the reminder stays quiet.
• Home screen widgets with today's notes and your writing streak, plus shortcuts to a new note, photo, gallery, scan and PDF.

REPORTS TO SHARE
• Send a PDF report to anyone you choose: a therapist, a doctor, a family member, a teacher or your pet's vet.
• They see your notes organized by day, with a mood summary, the context and the photos, so they can follow and review the period with you.
• You pick the folder, the dates and which data goes in, and you can protect the file with a password. A single note can also be shared through any app you like.

PRIVACY
• Notes and attachments are encrypted on your device with AES-256.
• Optional biometric lock.
• No ads, no analytics tools and no selling of data.

COGITATION PRO
• On-device AI: the sentiment and emotion of each note, estimated on your phone. Your text never goes to servers or AI companies, is never used to train models, and the analysis works offline once the model is downloaded.
• Insights: your mood trend, what goes with your best days (sleep, activity, places, times of day), emotions and the Energy radar.
• Encrypted sync across your devices, with 2 GB for photos and documents. Only you hold the key.
• Unlimited folders, reminders and PDF reports.

The free plan includes up to 3 active folders, a reminder in 1 folder and 4 PDF reports a month. Cogitation Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription.

Insights are estimates: they show what tends to come with your days, not what causes them. Cogitation is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything.

Available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
