Update on 10/16/2024: Still my absolute best British English Dictionary! I like Collins so well that I even purchased the Kindle e-book dictionary to effortlessly look up any unfamiliar British words while reading Kindle e-books. WONDERFUL!UNABRIDGED LOVE! I have other American and British Dictionaries on my phone but got this one specifically for the premium option because it offers an unparalleled content of more than 700,000 words.

Since it's platform is easy and simple, I am always tempted to use Collins Dictionary among scores of apps available on the internet. Above all it's free. I suggest an additional feature for a foreign users to refer, how that particular word's usage in a sentence to be shown.

Annoying ad system. After swiping word, I had to watch 30-second video ad. Collins web version is quite friendly. You have to earn money, but not this way.... Use normal text ad...

This app shows ad in each word search. Which is annoying and time-consuming. But they show good results. The ads are a bit too much.

According to screenshots this app contains audio pronunciation, which happen to be untrue. That screenshots probably come frome full, paid version. How disgraceful.
