This dictionary app is owned, not rented. I hope you get how important that is. I have used the Collins dictionary software since DOS and it is excellent. I also love the Oxford, but the purchased version was only from the now defunct Amazon app store. The Play version is rented.

Update on 10/16/2024: Still my absolute best British English Dictionary! I like Collins so well that I even purchased the Kindle e-book dictionary to effortlessly look up any unfamiliar British words while reading Kindle e-books. WONDERFUL!UNABRIDGED LOVE! I have other American and British Dictionaries on my phone but got this one specifically for the premium option because it offers an unparalleled content of more than 700,000 words.

Using this often for crossword synonym help. Good search for words when spelling not known too. Only niggle, why don't apps save your cookies response, so not questioned each time.

According to screenshots this app contains audio pronunciation, which happen to be untrue. That screenshots probably come frome full, paid version. How disgraceful.
