Color Blind Camera & Detector

See colors better or experience color blindness with Color Blind Camera 📷

Built for everyday clarity and understanding, this app helps you correct colors in real time, read exact color values, and simulate color blindness to experience how others see the world. Whether you have red, green, blue, or complete color blindness, it helps everyday moments look clearer.

🎨 New: smarter color detector

The detector is now a single color-reactive deck that lights up with the exact color you point at.
• Live swatch, color name, and RGB, HEX, HSL, CMYK and CIE Lab values
• Tap or drag the crosshair to sample anywhere, and copy any value in one tap
• Sample area from a 1×1 pixel pinpoint up to a 15×15 average for fabrics, clothing, walls and screens
• Freeze the frame, pinch to zoom 🔍 into the pixels, and hear the color name read aloud

⚖️ New: Dual Compare, match two shades

Pin two points, A and B, and read both side by side with a color difference score. Useful for checking two shades of the same paint, fabric or produce before you buy. Save pairs to named palettes and copy any palette as CSV for your records.

👁️ Vision Simulation Mode

Ever wondered how the world looks to someone with color blindness? Switch to Simulation Mode to experience it firsthand.
• Live camera view in real time
• Video recording with simulation applied
• Test on any photo in your gallery

Great for family, friends, teachers, and designers who want to test color accessibility.

🔬 Supported Color Vision Types

Both correction and simulation support 7 types of color vision:
• Protanopia and Protanomaly (red blind)
• Deuteranopia and Deuteranomaly (green blind)
• Tritanopia and Tritanomaly (blue blind)
• Achromatopsia (total color blindness)

📷 Live camera with side by side view

Point your camera at signs, clothes, food, or nature and see adjusted colors instantly. The camera stays smooth with no lag. You can tap to focus and adjust the color strength to suit your eyes.

Split View ↔️ Compare views side by side on the same screen, in Left Right or Top Bottom layout. It is a simple way to check the difference or show others what you see.

🎬 Record video

Record video with live color correction or vision simulation applied, complete with sound. The free version includes 10 second watermarked clips. Pro unlocks unlimited recording with no watermarks.

🖼️ Gallery photos, comparisons and batch export

Pick any photo, apply color correction or vision simulation, then swipe through your picks in a full screen viewer with gesture zoom. Save or share the filtered photo at full resolution, or export a 2-Way or 3-Way comparison of Normal, Corrected and Simulated views. Batch Export handles many photos at once, with its own color mode and strength. Useful for photos, documents, screenshots, and artwork.

🎯 Color names built for colorblind eyes

Readings are matched against 240 carefully chosen color names, so you get names you can actually act on, like Dusty Rose or Sea Green, instead of two shades of brown.
