Players take control of a moving ball or character in Colors and Chaos as they make their way through vibrant, chaotic obstacle courses. The gameplay emphasizes timing, reflexes, and color-matching techniques. To avoid obstacles that can push, reset, or block progress, players must maneuver the character to the left, right, or jump. Players must match the current color of their character to successfully navigate many color-coded barriers. Obstacles increase in speed, frequency, and complexity as levels go on; these include moving platforms, spinning items, and abrupt gaps that call for precise movements and fast thinking.
