I'm a long time adventure game fan, and this is my first time playing any version of Colossal cave. This does suffer from the known faults of classic adventure games-back tracking, obtuse puzzles, that sort of thing. However, the graphical update does help a lot, and I actually enjoy the smooth movement through the environments. Once you get into the old school gaming mindset, it's pretty fun. Accept that you won't beat it right away, and you'll have a good time.

I received a key to try Colossal Cave 3D and let me tell you, it works real well on mobile. I have a Samsung A54 and wasn't sure how well it would run. I own Colossal Cave on PS4/PS5 and Steam so of course I had to try a mobile port. The touch screen works well. The graphics are really good too. If I can recommend anything, maybe controller support? If you are an old school Sierra fan or adventure and puzzle fan in general, please give this game a try!

Paid. Installed. Launched. Then it starts downloading but never moves beyond 0%. No other options, just a green bar endlessly sweeping left to right - seems to be the "game" I paid for: a sweeping green bar 🙄 Contact email doesn't work. Daylight robbery 😠
