I have one nitpick with this launcher that I cannot seem to fix. The animation for the app drawer is TERRIBLE. It is like it is frame dropping as it opens when I swipe up. I looked through the settings, animations, transitions but nothing led me to believe I could fix that. The other features for this launcher are really good though which is why the app drawer thing hurts me so badly. I love the gestures, widget handling and icon customization. Great launcher if app drawer was smooth!

Action Launcher: Pixel Edition is genuinely the gold standard for Android. I have tried at least 10 different launchers over the years, and even after paying for half of them, nothing else comes close to the experience this provides. It feels like what the Android OS should be by default—perfectly fluid, intuitive, and feature-rich without ever feeling bloated. It’s the one constant I install on every new device.

Was far and away the best launcher, with truly unique and innovative features still today (Covers and Shutters), but the most fundamental UX of opening and closing apps and the app drawer is so janky it's unusable. Maybe this is Google's fault, and they've broken 3rd party launchers, but regardless the app unfortunately no longer can be recommended...

This app sucks paid for the plus subscription, and it won't allow me to grant permission or certain features. Highly don't recommend, and you won't be able to get a refund.
