Description

VirTimePlace is a GPS enabled Virtual Reality Player which brings you inside a 3D virtual world of historical places (from buildings to complete cities) at their epoch of maximum interest, and gives you a chance to play and learn about them, either for touristic or academic interest.
Very important! VirTimePlace is not a static app with just geolocated images or 2D or 360º videos. Unlike others, VirTimePlace gives you real time 3D with total freedom of movements and awesome games as BoP (Buy or Play) or Gym-khanas, designed to stimulate the knowledge of the archaeological heritage and spatial understanding.
Enjoy your visit to virtual ancient cities like: Classic Athens with its Acropolis and Agora, Hadrian's Villa at Tivoli, Roman Merida, Barcelona (Barcino), Cartagena (Carthago Nova), Nimes (Nemausus), Ephesus, Cordoba, Segobriga or Conimbriga (at Coimbra), Medieval Aguilar de la Frontera, or caliphal Cordoba and Madinat al-zahra, as well as specific monuments like The great mosque of Cordoba, or the roman villa of Fuente Alamo at Puente Genil, etc. in an ever growing catalog.
But the big thing occurs when you travel. If you're in the real place, you will be able to compare both, real and virtual places, to discover what has changed over the time, assisted by your device's GPS. Check it out, it's an amazing experience not previously available, and really mind blowing.
