At the start it was kinda just a gimmick but the more macros u make it exponentially gets better :) to start I would recommend a Bluetooth connection (can be specific!) trigger that with a delay (important!!!) then have it "play media" to whatever music player u use yw

Happy to pay the one-off fee. I've used Macro Droid to trigger each time the phone ip changes. It then gets that public ip and sends it to my media server at home using Webhook. On the server Caddy reverse proxy uses that ip to allow access and block all other remote ip addresses. The upshot is that I can get remote access to my Jellyfin server and hackers can't. If I'm on Wi-Fi at a friend's house I can also get access with their TV because it's the same public ip address.

Gemini recommended that I use this app to suppress specific notifications from my vehicle's app (i.e. unlocked doors in my secure garage). So I purchased the no-ad version and tried it, but it didn't work. I just gave up and locked the doors/hatch in the secure garage to avoid the irritation. I uninstalled Macro Droid and the developer issued a prompt refund!

Very poor on Google Pixel 10 Pro. I don't like ads, so I bought the full version immediately. Macros are hit-and-miss at best as there are timings problems, and some send intents, for example, do not work at all, due to Android restrictions, even with Shikoku installed and paired. This is because Macro droid does not have seamless integration with Shikoku allowing such commands. It is probably OK for simple macros, but I don't need simple ones. I can't find a way of getting a refund.

App is a trial app but is not advertised/named as such. Misrepresentation is a zero rating from me, should be a breach of play store TOS too, but who knows, probably just isn't being reported or etc. enough. From what I gathered online, prior app versions were not a trial, so... that too could explain slipping such a thing in like this. (I'm not against this or any app being premium, just honestly name/advertise it as a trial though, not hard...)

I created a Macro for an hourly chime, saved it and then was subjected to watching an incredibly obnoxious game demo... And then after found the Macro wasn't actually saved. I would be willing to pay for the app if it was good and worked but its enshitified monetization makes it unusable.

I don't understand why to enable the airplane mode we should activate the microphone full time even if the app is off. This microphone feature should be active only if we use it, not all the time. Could you please tell us when you will fix this? Thanks

At it's core a great app, and may still work for some people. Unfortunately the new advert barrier disabling it every few days' means it won't work for what I need it for. I've used this before as a disability aid and to give myself extra emergency settings in my phone. Not being able to rely on it being switched on means I'll unfortunately have to try and find a different method. For those willing to pay, I'm sure it still works well enough, but imho no longer usable otherwise.
