Description by Camel Corporation(from Google Play)
Universal Copy is the fastest way to copy text on Android, even from the apps that won’t let you or inside images.
In any app, launch Universal Copy, select the text you want to copy, it’s done!
Easy. Simple. Super fast.
******** MAIN FEATURES
- Normal mode: copy text from any application such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Chrome, WhatsApp, Tumblr, News Republic, Snapchat... - Scanner mode: copy text inside images (OCR technology). It currently works with Chinese, Devanagari (Hindi...), Japanese, Korean and Latin (English, Portuguese...) character sets. - Smart detection of entities: addresses, emails, phone numbers, @, #... are automatically detected by Universal Copy. - Copy-Paste in 1-tap: perform quick actions (translate, locate, share…) on the text you selected. This saves a lot of app switching. - Scroll mode: select texts from multiple screens or apps to copy them all. - Harvest mode: launch Harvest mode and capture all entities that you encounter while you navigate.

Universal Copy is ready, you can launch it anytime via: your notification drawer, a tile, a long press on a physical button of your phone
Note: The service can be deactivated automatically by your Android system, then you should enable the setting ‘let app run in background’ in Universal Copy and disable battery optimizer for Universal Copy. Unfortunately, this matter is out of our hands.

★★★★★ Universal Copy is a very useful app that makes copying text from anywhere on Android much easier, even from apps or images where text copying is normally not available. I would like to kindly request the addition of Somali language support in the app. Adding Somali would make the app more accessible for millions of Somali-speaking users around the world and help them benefit from its features more easily. Thank you for your great work and continuous improvements. I hope you will conside

Great app to be able to do what you already can do on your computer: select, copy and paste text. Note, you will need to enable accessibility features for the app, but it is easy to do it following the guidance in the app. Then the text copy is available from simple draw-down android menue. Quite often, g**gle turns off this accessibility feature for this app without your consent, so to reactivate it you need to open the app and repeat the "enable universal copy" in accessibility.

Scanner Mode needs improvement for Hindi OCR. It doesn't detect Hindi text embedded inside Instagram Reels/images, even though Devanagari is officially supported. On my Lava Storm 5G (Android 14), Scanner Mode detects some Instagram UI text but misses the Hindi text actually present inside the Reel. Please improve Hindi/Devanagari OCR and mixed Hindi + English detection for images and video frames.

Still too may bug for paid version: it forgots that it have accessibly permission and ask to grant it again and again. In accessibility options system shows "not working" near app name - so this is an app problem, not OS, all other apps work ok for me. Basically never works in landscape mode. Not text grab not scanner mode. Scanner mode does not support Cyrillic letters. Sometimes scanner mode not possibly to activate even with 10+ tries :(...
