I tried net guard, dns net, athena. Out of these rethink dns impressed the most. Why? Because it could be used with mullvad simultaneously. If it had 1 weakness, I checked GitHub seems lots of issues remain unresolved? Dev seems to be swamped with to-do list. But as long as it's fixed it has very good potential. This is a very important app to have. Fyi, the google play app is outdated vs GitHub, so i reco install from the GitHub instead. I donno y the dev have different version from GitHub

I'm so happy to have found this app. I love the ability to easily combine encrypted DNS filtering with a firewall on Android (and even run a VPN simultaneously!), which I hadn't found elsewhere. I've happily donated as well because this deserves it. Hopefully this can make privacy more accessible to all.

So far, good impression in first install. I will further test it. It looks good for a free open source app. Minus one star for bug, and no option to add other sources. Please add feature where we can see which is blocking something, so we can easily adjust our list. They removed the advertised VPN, so it's now only DNS and Firewall.

It is the single best app I have used in 2026, can you pls add one more sometimes feature I download content from here and there and this app game native sometimes game hub, I have to give access to them for storage, now with you app I can see. Where it is making all requests, but I want to block any request or say upload it makes to a place for example china, can you add that if it is possible, any answer is fine.

It worked great for a couple of weeks and then it stopped working. It fails to connect and says "no internet." I waited weeks and the issue did not resolve, so I will be uninstalling. Rebooting my phone or trying a different Wi-Fi connection did not help.
