This is an extremely well-designed and thought out launcher. I got my partner a relatively inexpensive and simple Android phones for Christmas as this is what she wanted. She's not very comfortable with smartphones but wanted to try, but she found it extremely confusing and didn't like it at all. I'm very used to smartphones, and I started looking for a straightforward and simple launcher that I could put on for her and found this gem. It instantly transformed her phone from something to dread into something that she was comfortable using. She simply wants to make phone calls, send texts, put in into silent mode etc., no gestures, swiping, widgets etc. and this launcher excels. I was so impressed that I bought it for my smartphone. I really like the customization features and that one can customize it if required to launch up to 5 different shortcuts (apps). I've done this with mine and one of the shortcuts launches my full launcher so that all the power under the hood of Android is there if and when I want it but the main apps, phone, messaging and my e-mail are right there up front. I also think the battery level and signal indicators are very clear and well-designed. Well done!

Great app but there are things that could be improved upon. Pros: Easy for the elderly to use. Cons: You can only save the colors. If you have to reload the app the settings/page layout for each page is lost. When searching for a contact it utilizes a fuzzy search. Example if I search for Dave, and start out with just D it will bring up all the contacts with D in the name, such as Jane Doe. This is very confusing for the elderly. Please make the search based on First name and not fuzzy.

A brilliant app. I had just about given up on getting my 95-year-old mother
set up with mobile. I've tried larger fonts, even special 'seniors' phones
all to no avail. Now she's texting like a pro! The only fault with Grand
Launcher is the inability to change between upper and lower case letters e.g.
can't change the 1st letter after a full stop to upper case and i by itself
to capital I. All in all though I highly recommend this app.

Garbage. It takes your money, then it says Grand Phone and all the other apps aren't available for your version of Android. It is just Grand Larceny.
