Logcat Reader makes it easy to view and save the device logs. The source code is available at github.com/darshanparajuli/LogcatReader.

This has replaced Catalog which now needs a rooted phone. Lolcat needs just a simple command via adb shell. Excellent! Would be great to initiate using Tasker so that on device boot Lolcat opens and begins recording to a log file. Thanks for a useful app!

Well, it's the most updated one. Matt log has stopped development. So I'll use this one instead. I remember rating this 2 star before because of Matt log, maybe because of the theme or Matt log was the most used back then or maybe because of the simplicity of options? I was a newbie back then. Still, I wish theme can be at least customized with this one. I don't like green themes that much. Also, took me some time to realize how to filter only "Error" logs. Why'd it have to be placed as sub-option?

This app can't detect root if there is safety net fix module in magisk or zygisk enabled I hope this issue will be fixed in next update

After giving asked permission using manual mode - Doesn't show any log at all and this app itself started crashing. And now I even adb lolcat command not working from PC. Anyone knows how to fix adb lolcat problem with PC?

Pretty decent program. Unfortunately it appears there has been no development in a while and the app crashes instantly on Android 11. I haven't found an alternative except adb.
