Comments on Material Photo Widget for Android

★★★★★ Indiphile Khumalo · Aug 19, 2026

It does the job. Nothing more and nothing less. No ads and no difficulties using the app. A simple and effective app for those whose phones don't have the option to manually add Photo widgets.

★★★★★ Ayoub Siddiqui · Sep 29, 2026

Genuinely the best widget for photos. I have a big album of photos I want to use with over 2000 items, every other app I have to select each photo manually, up to like 30 photos at once before having to select the next group of 30 photos. Here you can just select the entire folder, such a time saver. And the fact you can customize EVERYTHING, the aspect ratio, the intervals, so perfect. W developer, would give 6 stars

★★☆☆☆ Jasmine · Sep 10, 2026

Started off okay letting me select photos to add to widget. Then it glitched, kept freezing wouldn't do anything or load anything. Tried to shut the app restart just keeps crashing

★☆☆☆☆ Scott H · Jul 9, 2026

Crashes when you attempt to add multiple photos from Google backup

★☆☆☆☆ Dale Thomas · May 13, 2026

Does not work. Shuffle feature fails. App crashes. Widget disappears. pixel9a

★☆☆☆☆ Suhani Jadhav · Jun 8, 2026

It worked perfectly for many days, as long as I had kept the same widgets. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars for that. But recently, when I tried to change the widgets, it stopped working. I can't add any widgets anymore. I'm disappointed.
