★★★★★ So far so good! K-9 Mail supports Identities (just like in Thunderbird), the main feature I needed. Lots of advanced account settings if you need them (I do!). The UI is very configurable from settings, you can hide sender photos and configure the arrangement of the inbox. I'd like to see an option to choose the color of the floating Compose button, and a better app icon would be nice. Looks like a great email app, think I'm going to like this!

★★★★★ No issues so far. Easy to set up two accounts. Unified inbox is a godsend that not even Google can figure out.

★★★★★ After trialing many alternative mail clients a couple of years ago I tried K9 Mail and haven't looked back. For me, it is the one. I definitely recommend K9 Mail. It's very customizable, and I have it set up just the way I like with just a handful of tweaks from the default settings. I use it for my two personal and my work email accounts seamlessly and in conjunction with also having PC's syncing messages both sent & received without losing messages at any client.

★★☆☆☆ Simple and easy menus and interface with only the most needed features. However, outdated and illogical menus and interface. All subfolders are displayed. They can't be collapsed. With many subfolders you have to scroll a lot. Strangely, multiple email accounts are collapsed. This menu has to be opened to check the email accounts. The interface and menus need a complete overhaul.

★★☆☆☆ Notifications/background sync is not working for me, new mail only appears when I open the app and sync manually

★★☆☆☆ Very basic, too basic. I was sent the selection of an Excel spreadsheet, and I couldn't see any of the colors of the table, which on Thunderbird, Outlook, Gmail, Samsung mail, Yahoo Mail, and a couple others, I could. Unfortunately, this makes it unusable to me, but maybe it works for other people
