K-9 Mail

★★★★★ Email app that just works great with IMAP and SMTP protocol.

★★★★★ Update: K-9 support suggested that I update Web View and Chrome which I did, and it fixed the problem so back to being a happy bunny again. Issue was: problem when opening emails, unless I select 'edit as new' I cannot see the text in the message, it's become such an issue I'm now having to decide whether to move to another email client, I shall try sending a bug report but it's never worked for me before. L was a beta tester for K-9 mail, but it was updated 3 hrs ago, and now it won't open.

★★★★★ This app has come a long way since Mozilla Thunderbird took over the reins. Features, customization, and visual appeal are attractive. I'm looking forward to a complete transformation to Thunderbird. ~ Samsung Galaxy S24+

★★☆☆☆ Useful for being able to check real addresses of spoof email that my BlackBerry Hub email ap doesn't show, but otherwise nothing like as good as the BlackBerry ap. Mozilla said they were going to turn K-9 into a proper Thunderbird for mobile, but they have done nothing with it since buying it. A big disappointment.

★★☆☆☆ Emails jsut straight up don't send. Have had multiple issues where people haven't received responses to time sensitive emails that I thought I "sent" from the app. Not in sent, not in drafts, not in outbox

★★☆☆☆ Not very attractive design. Very rare and slow app updates. It's a shame since it's backed by Mozilla. I switched from Samsung mail due to my recent phone brand switch. Will look at alternatives.
