This would be just perfect if it supported sharing to a Telegram contact. For most situations the UI would be all I need, but I have to stick using the cumbersome full Glimpse app as it supports Telegram which most of my friends use.

The Express version is all I need, or want. Would be nice if it could communicate your location to non-smartphones somehow (texts?) and if the destination could be marked on the web-based map that recipients use to view your progress. I would also like the option to set a period longer than 4 hours. Really very well done though. Oh, a more intuitive function for canceling a Glimpse would be nice. Not working with Hangouts currently.

Glimpse is great but the share functionally is broken as it creates the link twice when sharing to SMS

Links not working. When you share your location, it just brings you to the website instead of sending you to the map of your location in real time. Update and fix for more stars. Used this for years and this hasn't happened. Update: Dec 2020- I think the devs have given up on this app seeing as it hasn't been updated since January 2019. Sent a Glimpse to myself for 12 hours n checked it- shows where I was 3 hours ago. Fail.

I downloaded & used the app once, and when I opened it, was greeted with a page that says. "Select an application or contact to share your location with" where I could pick from about 8–10 options. After selecting one, it worked fine. I tried to use it a second time, & when I open the app, it just shows the message "Select an application..." but nothing I could select. I uninstalled & reinstalled with the same result. It worked once, but after that, nothing.
