As someone who frequently uses multiple countdown timers in the kitchen, the new updated UI is an improvement. In terms of looks, it's simple and plain, as it should be. I'm not so much of a fan of the updated icon though. The extra thick oval hour hand and gradient circle face look sort of jank compared to the previous icon.

Still don't know why it only has dark theme. Can you please fix it? One feature that I know about Google apps is the ability to change the theme from dark to light or even follow the systems theme. But this one has none. In my opinion the app is lovely 👍🏽🔥🤩. My problem now is just the theme. The alarm works just fine for me and maybe the others have found out something but for me so far it's just the permanent dark theme that is the problem

Lately due to battery optimization or something else it won't play my chosen YouTube music song 1st thing in the morning but if I snooze it once then it will play song system says it's forced to battery optimized but seriously even when it's plugged in overnight? Please fix this I want to wake up to my song it helps me get going in my day

Routines attached to phone alarms are broken. If I have an alarm set on my phone, there is currently no way to set a routine like turning on a coffee pot or smart light or anything else. When I expand an alarm and press the + button under Routines, it opens the Google Assistant settings menu now. I can't create a phone alarm routine from that menu. These kinds of bugs can't happen. Alarms need to be reliable. When basic functions that people rely on break, people leave your platform.

New UI and font in the clock app look terrible and less intuitive before. When you click an alarm, it used to expand to show you the alarm settings. Now there is a pop-up window for the settings. It is ugly and makes it harder to manage multiple alarms at the same time. The font change is skinny and gross looking, I preferred the old one. Edit: new update, somehow managed to make the timer worse too. Number buttons are smaller to make space for unnecessary minute buttons.
