Frequent disconnections on the recent version (Mai 2026) Edit: the disconnections were caused by an outdated firmware on the head-unit. No more disconnections after an upgrade of it. Despite that, I disabled the auto-update of this app.

Mic drops out after 1 minute on call. Other party can't hear me. Need to switch to phone speaker and back to bt. If I close android auto during call this bug doesn't happen. Happening on new mg4 car. Waze's check new route sometimes crashes. Waze doesn't register touches. Looks like new version is buggy

Great app lets me do everything while I'm driving without using my phone. The one thing I really wishes I could dim the screen in my car. With Android auto at night it's way too bright. And it overrides my car settings, so I can not dim the center display. Update to my review. For some reason now I have to unlock my phone for it to start working. A severe downgrade and some upgrade.

Have recently changed my car to a Land Rover Discovery (2019) I have a dongle off Amazon which connects the in car infotainment to Android Auto on my phone. Connection is solid and fast. Android Auto is accurate, showing speeds, cameras, congestion and finding a way round issues seamlessly. The ability to add anything spotted, accidents/ police cameras/ congestion/ road works etc., quickly filters through to other users helping to avoid delays. Great bit of kit. Wouldn't be without it.

It keeps disconnecting from the car. When I get calls coming in I can't hear the other person, but they can hear me.

13th June 2026 had a problem with messenger, so I uninstalled messenger and reinstalled, and now I can't see it in android auto anymore
