Alternate mechanism is being designed. • All stars from Tycho2 catalog which goes up to mag 11.5. • Meteor showers, including Perseids, Geminids, Leonids

Just like the SkEye app, this app provides a star chart for Astronomy observations and easy PushTo guidance for Binoculars or Telescopes.
Recent changes: Major change!
The app now lets the user update the comet data through the internet without waiting for me to package a new release. To update the data go to Settings -> Catalogs -> Comets and click "Update".
Note: This feature requires the Internet permission. I resisted adding the feature for so long because I wanted to avoid the Internet permission. But given that interesting comets have been appearing in quick succession, I had to support this feature along with the additional permission.

When observing, I have my phone attached to my telescope and use this app as a Push-To aid. It's brilliant. The free version is probably enough for me, but I bought the Pro version just to support the developer

When I bought this app I was happy and it worked. Now the last 3 phones I have installed this on it sticks on north and won't work. Worked on Gs3. Doesn't work on Note2 and note 3 and note 10.1 2014. UPDATED: It never worked on the older note devices. Tests ended up failing on every device that used a magnet for a flip cover. It does open and function but GPS fails to provide acurate results on Note 9, 10, 20 Ultra 5G and now Tab S8 Ultra. I do not use this app for looking at the sky sadly...
