About a month ago, I wrote a scathing review of the Sound Hound app. It was intermittent, buggy and sometimes, it didn't even work at all. I gave it only 2 stars. UPDATE: 6/20/2026. Is it just coincidence, or did somebody actually read my prior review? I am pleased to report that now the app is working better than ever! Now, song recognition is almost instantaneous! Generally, the app is running very smoothly on my Samsung S25+/256. 5 stars! Thank you, Sound Hound. Welcome back! Andy

Sound Hound used to be great for searching music, but with the amount of ads it gets today it's sinply useless. The song finished before the ads finished. Removing

How stupid do you have to be to realize that your buttons are lined up with the phone buttons? Why I dislike updates because there's always something you messed up on. Now I can't press the button to get what song is playing or my history of the songs I found. Instead, I press the buttons from my phone. What awesome job on the updates. Now I'm disappointed in this app now. Most likely to delete it instead because who knows when that problem will be solved. Thanks for the messed up update.

Used to be a wonderful app, but now ads cover the stop button, so you can't stop the audio capture to find your song. Tapping the X results in returning to the home screen and you start over. Very frustrating.
