Octopi Launcher is definitely worth a shot! I had a little trouble at first getting my icons to work, but once I figured it out, I bought pro and will not look back. This is my new daily driver! Excellent grid customization, individually resizable icons, and the option to lower apps in the drawer for easier reach, are the standout features so far. This launcher is Awesome!!! (If anyone has trouble finding their icon packs, try launcher settings - general, and scroll down to restart launcher)

Nearly the perfect launcher. A great replacement for Nova and it does most of the things Nova did include all the gestures and folder features. You can even have app draw tabs courtesy of tags. The one thing that is missing is the true Google discover feed. You can set the Google app as a gesture from the first home screen, but that really isn't the same in look or behavior when you close it and return. Once that is there, it will be perfect.

Great Nova replacement! Love everything this launcher does, except it didn't have setting a home dock page, but wait, it does now! Didn't see the update to add the feature on 1 May 2026. One thing I ask for with this feature. Can you set the dock to animate like the main screen does, so it slowly slides back to the set home dock instead of just blinking there? Thank you for the continuing improvements.

Damn, the recently added home screen row setup messed up with my layout. Now that is the case, kwgt doesn't restore well with the home screen. And the WORST problem is now the dock has this background that messes with the widget I normally have underneath that overlaps the dock area. PLEASE FIX!

Had been a longtime Nova user. Switched to Octopi a few weeks ago and was ok, so I got a license. Latest update broke the home screen functionality quite badly, though. All the folders have been nested at the top of the screen, blocking everything that is located at the top of the screen... and tapping anywhere on the screen opens the folders at random. I see no way to turn off this new "feature", so have to switch back to Nova to be able to use my phone.
