There is a problem when external storage is shared in this app. Each time when your refresh is adding a duplicate share folder in the list. To get rid of it disable the external storage and refresh as many times needed for each duplicate folder to dissapers from list. Otherwise, fine. Downside you cannot save the file from cloud.

I've tried many cloud platforms, but ownCloud on my home server is by far the best for me. It gives me the convenience of cloud storage while keeping my files private and fully under my control. I like knowing my data is not sitting with a third-party provider. It has been reliable, easy to use, and a perfect fit for my setup. For anyone who values privacy, ownership, and freedom, self-hosting ownCloud is an excellent choice. 5 stars from me. Try it, you won’t regret it!

Works well in general, but once I managed to corrupt my password vault by uploading a zero byte size file after editing it with KeepassDroid. Not sure which app to blame, but there could be a sanity check not to upload a 0 byte files.

Cannot access files in Owncloud on Android. Owncloud cannot send files to weChat, gmail and other mainstream programs. Does not work with Simple Mind mind mapper. Cannot even open PDF files to view them. I just saw an announcement of new features and these were not among them.

Terrible! They offer a free trial for 14 days to test this app out and clearly say there will be no charge today and no charge until the 14th day. Well, I put my card number in to sign up for the trial and IMMEDIATELY this company began trying to charge my account $1.06 over and over and over again! To the point that my bank flagged it as suspicious and reached out to me right away (Thank God for some business entities that still have ethical practices) and now I need a new card. For shame!

Clean simple app, but lacks Nextcloud features I rely on. Can't scan documents from camera. Can't be used as path for other apps (e.g. Signal backups, Podcast Addict backups, etc.).

I want to load memory map files from my server to the phone for Simply Mind App. But I didn't find the location of the files on my phone. Where are they located, so I can tell it to the Simply Mind App?
