For many years I have relied solely on the app Accurately to get insights about my Li-Ion battery. It worked flawlessly & it was one of the 1st apps I ALWAYS installed on a new phone. BUT new Android versions, new technologies (as Si-C batteries, AI, ...) changed this immensely. On my Honor Magic 7 pro the app became USELESS. Battery Guru was the EXACT replacement I searched and MUCH MORE (to the point I uninstalled AccB). Therefore, I can only wholeheartedly recommend this app to EVERYONE.

This app is waay better than accurately in terms of stats and consistency of working - and it gave me a good estimate of my battery health And the idea of watching ads for premium - I like it honestly - 2 ads for a day - I think it's reasonable compared to just blocking out the features edit for dev: charging session info gives peak power attained during the session - but I feel average charging speed in watts could tell more about how the device charges (tab states 25w -but avg is 15w)

Notification will not stick to the top in v2.5.0 or v2.4.9.2. It gets shoved down to the middle. It works as designed in v2.4.9.1. I've reported this bug, and it has been ignored. The only reason I got this app is, so I can see the stats quickly. This bug makes it useless for that.

Honestly I'm very disappointed by the lack of simply the current battery percentage in the midst of all those damned extensive stats in the notification!! Which is the main reason for trying the app first place since the damned system bar font is too small. Need a simple scroll to know the value...sad

Used to be good, now it is annoying. The app icon will replace the status of what you set on display. You would need to clear the notification to display the status of the chosen info. App badge icon will override it again though. Too many other notifications ls will override the status display even if you set it to stay in settings. You would need to clear most of the notifications, so it will display again.
