PhotoPills is a game changer with my Sony a6700. The Milky Way planner and AR view are incredibly accurate, and the 500-rule and exposure tools make dialing in APS-C settings easy. I can plan compositions, check moon phases, and know exactly where the galactic core will rise before I leave the house. It removes the guesswork in the field and helps me capture exactly what I envision. Worth every penny for serious night and landscape photographers.

Photographers often move their hand to feel sunlight direction — what if AR mode had a live sensor glow or brightness feedback as the user enters stronger light? That would make real-world light scouting incredibly intuitive.” then photographer can place the subject for different lighting patterns as per suns intensity and brightness. If you add this feature it will be a valuable tool for all photographers scouting for sunlight path/pattern....sujay

The most useful photography app, with extensive features for planning. It's worth watching some tutorials to get the most out of its features.

Essential for planning shoots. Well worth the money

Why do you have an older App version for Android users? IOs users get version 2.13.23 while on the play store I get version 1.8.18. At the same price. How can I upgrade to the latest version. This is unfair for Android users.

Can only give 1 star, until you upgrade the stability and precision over the Faroe Islands! None of the information is as reality here! Moonrise is wrong 10/10 times! Sunsets are wrong 10/10 times! We can't plan anything with this app anymore.

I got this tool largely to use the field of view calculator, yeah it does not seem to work as I either expect or as I believe it is advertised.

Finding the sun or the moon only at azimuth is impossible. It always asks for an elevation too! Edit: The point is to find the range of possible elevations and being able to sort the results instead of having to manually scroll through the timeline. I also want to know if a certain azimuth is possible within a year at all. Edit 2: It is not your place to tell me what is useful and what is not. As a user, I'm saying I need this as was advertised.
