Works as described out of the box. Installed while my phone was connected to my wi-fi, Sony Blu-ray already connected to wi-fi was detected straight away and was able to start controlling player.

All functions work with my BluRay UBPX700 player (Remote start has to be enabled in the BluRay player settings for the power button to work properly). This app makes an excellent remote replacement that is easy to use.

"MyAv Sony Blu-ray & PS5" Remote. The name means absolutely nothing... Why on earth does this Sony app insist on connecting to my Philips Hue bridge, I don't want it to do that, I have a dedicated app for that! As I don't want it to connect to the Philips Hue, the app Knows better, I can't stop it from trying to connect to the Philips Hue. Considering I have purchased the other MyAv Universal, which has the same problem and gave up on, this is just as bad!
