Comments on Vinyl Music Player for Android

★★★★☆ Hueuehue hueHue · Aug 2, 2023

Really like the design and everything, it's my go-to music player But recently when I wanted to edit album tags of music stored on SD Card, it says I should open some navigation drawer for permissions? But that drawer doesn't exist? I'm on Android 8, would be happy about some help

★★★★★ Tyler Brewer · Oct 27, 2023

Probably the best app I've owned it's a free version of phonograph and the developer is way yyy more active than that of phonograph, so I suggest if you want phonograph u might want to try this one first.

★★★★★ Masta Haze · Jan 8, 2024

Vinyl is basically the unofficial continuation of Phonograph. They look the same in almost everything. However, this player is 100% open source and free. And while Phonograph hasn't been updated since 2021, this is still actively developed and supported. It lacks some feature that are present in other players but overall it works beautifully. Hopefully the developer will add some missing feature in the future updates (Cast above everything else).

Replay Gain worked perfectly for months, now it's broken. Album and Track do nothing.

★☆☆☆☆ Mikhal I · Oct 13, 2023

With the latest update my songs stop playing or skip to a different song randomly. Same issues on 2 different phones (android 13 and 14). Please fix it asap, it's unusable

★☆☆☆☆ Sanjay Krishna R · Apr 20, 2026

Shuffling a playlist isn't random and always plays the same few songs

★☆☆☆☆ BozKurt WTF · Jun 10, 2025

Why every time when I press screen writing came named "permission to access external storage denied"and this writing blocking my music and I can't press my song I appreciate this app, but that's very annoying
