I'm removing one star from by review because PIA never warns the account holder (the user with the email who created the account) that someone else has logged into PIA with your account details. PIA should add this and there needs to be a way to see how many devices you have on a plan, either through the app or website. Those are my issues with the VPN service, and I hope they will fix them. Aside from that, the VPN works as intended with lots of locations to choose from, and high speeds.

The app has been great. Easy to use and pretty consistent. My only issue is lately a lot of networks are detecting it and blocking it. I'm not sure if that's just all VPNs or if PIA is just easier to block.

Great app, been using it for years. However since the last update (27/6/26) OpenVPN with Shadowsocks doesn't work. Wire guard does but not OpenVPN/Shadowsocks. Edit: I am already running ver 4.0.34(704), the latest in PS.

Edit: None of the suggestions work! Autoconnect doesn't work. I have to go in app again and again to connect. - I am very unsatisfied by the connectivity lately. It just constantly keeps disconnecting, so many servers of pia are blacklisted. German servers have horrible connectivity and most are blacklisted by sites/apps. Using obfuscation, cleaning cache, reinstalling or switch from open vpn to WireGuard does not help either. It is even worse on my Iphone and android tv.

Doesn't handle rural connections well. Numerous connection and server issues, differing in scope and type over the two years I've been a customer. Recommended only if you live somewhere with constant connection, or use US servers exclusively.
