I really enjoy Qwant the search engine, and I actually like how serious they are about security and privacy. But the slide security check is all light themed, and it hurts my eyes when Qwant itself is dark themed. This security check also happens most of the time I use this browser app, which can be not great if I need to look something up in an emergency. And I also notice when I use my phone's back button on web pages, sometimes it backs me out of the app. Not a huge deal.

Works well, good choice if you're looking for an alternative to Google for your search engine. A couple of annoying glitches. One, most times when I hit the back button to go back to a page, it kicks me right out, and I have to go in again and then the back button works on the second time around. Weird. Two, when I type in a search, it just stops. Nothing happens, no search results, just sits there. End up using Google, or Samsung internet.

Extremely poor fit between search and results. Could aswell be returning random results, and I would not be able to tell the difference

Qwant was good at first but is entirely undesirable now as most of the time when I use the app it doesn't load at all... The app opens, and I can type things into the search tab but fails to load

You say we are in control, and we are safe from trackers and all that. But if we own all our control and privacy? What's with all the permissions? Surely if all what you say and claim about our privacy? What's the need for all the permissions? I know we can turn off permission, but that don't answer the question, Why all those permissions in first place?
