Description by Franco apps(from Google Play)
Turn one phone into a remote camera and control it from another with live preview and a remote shutter.
Use one phone as the camera and the other as the remote to frame shots, adjust settings, and take photos from up to 300 meters away. No internet needed.
📸 REMOTE CAMERA & WIRELESS SHUTTER See exactly what the camera sees in the real-time viewfinder. Control zoom, focus, flash, brightness, night mode and exposure remotely, then press the shutter on your Bluetooth remote - or just say "Cheese!" and take a photo with your voice. The two phones work together like a dual camera - every shot lands on both.
🤳 GROUP PHOTOS & SELFIES - EVERYONE'S IN THE FRAME Stop asking strangers to take your picture. Turn the other phone into your selfie camera: frame the group photo from your own screen and make sure no one is left out - on trips, at dinners, or anywhere else. Forget the selfie stick and the camera timer sprint - with a remote shutter you take the picture when everyone is ready. Use the live preview to frame everyone before taking the photo.
📷 YOUR POCKET PHOTO BOOTH Set up your own photobooth at parties, weddings or family events. Guests pose in front of one phone while you snap pictures with the remote shutter and watch it all live. A photo booth app in your pocket - no rental needed.
🤫 SILENT MODE & HIDDEN CAMERA Turn on silent shooting and SayCheese becomes a silent camera and hidden camera - photograph shy wildlife, catch candid moments of your kids playing, or snap your pet's antics without a shutter sound or a lit screen giving you away.
👶 BABY MONITOR & PET CAMERA Need a quick baby monitor? Place one phone near your sleeping baby or pet and watch the live video stream from the other room. Silent mode with live preview captures sweet moments without waking anyone.
Features: ⭐ Live viewfinder with real-time streaming between phones ⭐ Remote control of zoom, focus, brightness, flash and night mode ⭐ Voice commands - take photos hands-free ⭐ Silent mode - works as a hidden camera for candid and wildlife shots ⭐ Bluetooth camera shutter + WiFi connection, no internet or router required ⭐ Max quality photos and video camera recording ⭐ Dual camera setup - photos and videos saved on both phones ⭐ Works up to 300 meters between phones ⭐ Replaces camera timer apps, selfie sticks and tripods
Whether you need a camera remote for group photos, a photo booth for your next party, or a baby monitor at nap time - SayCheese is the only remote camera app you need.
Garmin watches are also supported, with live preview and remote Android camera controls.
Recent changes: - Garmin watches: sharp, full-color live preview (with the latest SayCheese watch app) - Clearer photo confirmation on your watch

It's great. But I have 2 questions: one is related to a bug. Once I connect my S9 plus to the Z2 Fold with camera used from the S9, and I switch to video, the picture freezes on the Fold 2. Second is a question as to why the 2 screens are mirrored? If I look to the S9 and mlve the Fold 2, the right becomes left and the other way around. I see no option to change this?

Great and useful idea with good implementation. It has great potentials. However, 2 reasons make this not my main remote shutter app. 1st: the camera functions of this app are very limited compared to the camera app of my phone (Oppo Find X7 Ultra); 2nd: the photos taken with this app completely lack of EXIF data.

Great update! The remote shutter functionality works great.

The concept is cool, but the app requires both phones to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, which makes it not feasible to use in a lot of situations (e.g. travelling)

It works for a few minutes and then quits. Often hangs when switching from photo to video, or from one device's camera to the other. Not a fan. I am using a Pixel Tablet with android version 13, and a Samsung A53 5G, also android version 13.

Useless. Demanding Wi-Fi access. Will not even allow the one phone to be a hotspot device with the other on Wi-Fi. Uninstalled after barely 2 min.
★☆☆☆☆Scott Iswithme· Jan 18, 2023
The developers' description clearly says phones do not have to be connected to Wi-Fi. But you do have to enable Wi-Fi on both phones. That's all well and good unless you were planning on using one phone strictly as a camera connected to your activated via hotspot. Once you enable Wi-Fi on your phone that's activated (running hotspot) it kicks your not activated phone (camera) offline therefore not allowing phones to connect on Say Cheese and making this a colossal waste of time for me.
