Looks like updating to android 12 fixes the onscreen keyboard issue that was apparent in android 11, It's now back to being the best Speccy emulator out there!

This is an excellent emulator with fully configurable controls, spot-on graphics/sound emulation (the best on Android IMHO), save game slots, and ability to add your own games and Bogart. 19-11-2024. I've just noticed Spectacular was updated in May to work on newer phones that don't support old 32-bit apps. In 2022, I was very disappointed when my new shiny phone wouldn't run Spectacular. Thanks to Jonathan Needle for updating it and welcome back Spectacular! 😊

So this is actually a really a great Spectrum emulator. I was curious as to why it only has a 3.5 rating. I went through the reviews and the low ratings are from idiots that don't understand how to find and load their own game roms. The biggest criticism I saw was that there wasn't enough games and that you had to pay a mere .99 cents for additional games?? These are from people who don't understand that you can find and load your own ROMs for free. Do a Google search for free "Spectrum ROMS".

I purchased the full version but when I try to add files to mentioned Folder /storage/emulated/0/Spectacular <<< in any format tzx, tap,sna they are not showing up yet when i goto the folder via My files I can see all the files are there... What am I doing wrong.

Unable to play games unless you either buy them from the dev or upgrade to the paid version of the app.

The onscreen keyboard is unusable and not synced to the bottom press I press button 1, and it hits a button in the bottom row
