I swapped from Feebly to Plenary after years of Feebly slowly going downhill, and it's a MUCH better experience. My only issue is that some feeds don't work properly (including some of the suggested feeds like Pitchfork and some other fairly mainstream sources like Click Hole), but the overall user experience is absolutely head-and-shoulders above any of the other readers I've tried. Happily buying a lifetime license after using the free version for about a week.

Excellent as an RSS feed reader, and very good for podcasts too. Customize your own reading and listening content feed and sidestep the insidious manipulation, censorship, and tracking common on the big centralized platforms. This app makes a great replacement for Twitter, Substack, Google Podcasts, and Google News. One problem with the app: Sometimes podcasts do not show up in the saved list after being saved. Needs to better show progress during saving.

It attempts to be exactly what an RSS should be--a compendium of your chosen RSS feeds with a (mostly) easy add option and filtered folders based on the type of content. At first, the folders were a little slow populating but eventually loaded. I finally deleted the app after I couldn't get my smallest folders to load. Good luck and keep trying, plenary devs. Maybe I'll try it again after a couple of updates.

This is a beautiful app that works well. However, it's super expensive, and that combined with the fact that it hasn't been updated since 2021 make me hesitant to pay for it. It feels abandoned, and I refuse to pay a subscription fee for something that doesn't receive regular updates.
