Comments on Super Productivity: To-Do List for Android
★★★★★Sandra Heller· May 10, 2026
This app is both, my external brain and the perfect tool for planning tasks and projects and keeping work logs. It's Open Source with a fast moving development—what more could you ask for? I’ve tried a ton of task trackers, project planners, and to-do list apps: Super Productivity hits just the right spot; it can be as complex or simple as you like. It takes a little getting used to at first, but my brain loves the support, the clear overview and motivational approach. Highly recommended!

Literally has everything for free! Forget ticktock, this app once you learn it has everything. It syncs with my Google calendar, has kanban boards, projects with sections, tasks, and subtasks, it also has timers. It just has so much. Give it a shot but expect to need time to learn it all. I've already donated to the developer

Finally, a task manager that matches my thought process, helps me focus, tracks my time, has built-in Eisenhower and Kanban, and metrics! And a REST API I can use for AI integration. Local storage, privacy first mentality. I went all-in on this and had the most productive 3 days I've had in a long time. Five stars! I woke up this morning, all my data was gone. No tasks. No history. Nothing. Empty. That's a dealbreaker. Will give 5 stars if the dev can provide recovery instructions.

Should have annexed "web app," poorly designed, notifications despite giving all sort of permissions, disabling battery optimization and all still barely works, then sync, then half labelled settings... so on. ZERO STARS

It's great for privacy and functionality, but it's not quite there yet. Notifications don't quite work, the app requires a restart once a day to load in recurring tasks, and there are no widgets. EDIT: still no notifications, stopped using it as it's useless without them.
