Great for planning however, discounts like military discounts. It'd be great if there was a way to put in your military or other discount categories or let you know if there are discounts. Very disheartening to learn that there are discounts after you book non-refundable in the app

Very useful for scouting an area for eateries and things to do, but not 100% reliable. Some joker posted a non-existent attraction with a photo from the area we were visiting and a blatantly fake review. I pointed this out using the app's feedback link and TripAdvisor's reply was that the post did not breach any of its guidelines, so it wasn't going to remove the post. So it appears you can post fake information and, as long as it is polite, it doesn't matter that the information is 100% fake.

Becoming pointless and a waste of time. I leave honest reviews and TripAdvisor blocks the review on untrue grounds. Trivago is a better app

Downgraded/uninstalled - They made the app pointless. I want to review a list of restaurants nearby and all I can see now is the map. I guess I'll have to use AI now. Looking at the recent, pertinent reviews, it seems it was an obvious mistake to change the interface, but it doesn’t appear that TripAdvisor is listening.
