Very good for avoiding toll roads, better than Waze for this. Consumes 41.6 % mobile data of Waze. I used Android Auto for Waze as alerts are missing on Michelin, used Michelin on phone screen. Navigation seems at turns a bit inaccurate or less smooth than other apps. Tomtom Amigo is good for average speed zone measurements. So I use 3 apps depending on the situation, plus Google Maps as search is better. Picture sometime freezes, which is solved by changing screen view or restarting navigation.

This is a very good, clutter-free app. And it's a pleasant surprise NOT to use Google mapping - this app uses Bing satellite imagery (more up to date compared to Google), and Michelins own proprietary mapping. Can't understand the low rating reviews. EDIT: still fantastic from the latest update of June 2024. For those comments about not saving preferences - you simply need to create an account with Via Michelin.

The upgrade has ruined it. It keeps sending me to the website not the app (well, I think that's what's happening) There are clearly 2 totally different platforms going on. I have to go via the website and login every time and retell it where HOME is. But the app doesn't have a My Account section at all, so I can't set favorites like I used to. Icons are big and ugly and get in the way. I can't switch off "helpful" suggestions. I used to plan a route, but now I have to create an itinerary! Yuk!!

Ruined a good app. I wanted it only to do what Michelin does as a USP the scenic routes, now you just use it like a manual map

Good app to see touristic places, Michelin restaurants and plan a trip, however the GPS navigation doesn't work at all, it's full of bugs. So, you can use it only as a route planner, what a shame. Also, the app needs to have access to your location "all the time", not only "while using the app" if you want to try the navigation, this is not ok.

I used to use this app to find the best fuel prices, now it's broken. They completely revamped and changed the UI for it to be completely unusable for this purpose, I'm not even sure what it is good for, given the map doesn't even load. Used to be able to input my vehicle model and estimate the fuel consumption of a journey, that's gone too
