I've used a number of tracking apps, this is the only one I'll use. I can use it without negative food noise but stay on track with my goals. Doesn't have to be keto.

Best FREE functionality and features for meal tracking! I've tried many others popular meal tracking apps, Carb Manager gives you the most features for free if you're looking to just track meals. Other apps want you to pay to use the barcode scanner or create custom foods, not Carb Manager. I don't care about carbs just calories and protein. This app is extremely easy to use and helpful in these cases. Of course if you want added features you can choose to pay for them.

WARNING. WARNING ⚠️ do not SUBSCRIBE do not use any of their premium features as even the least expensive plan is impossible to unsubscribe from. As so many other apps, this one too has you chasing your tail, sending you from pillar to post and back again, you end up having lengthy chats with an AI ROBOT who tells you it's your fault. I subscribed on my mobile and yet it's impossible to unsubscribe on my mobile, the subscription doesn't appear in Google Play Store under any of my IDs.

***Another year and no widget*** try some of the other popular apps. This has great features, but no widgets' means less usability for quick entry. *** Update *** A year later and still no widgets for android .......................................... This sucks. Love the app, but the fact that Android users can't get a widget on the home screen is a pretty big oversight. This alone will garuntee I don't keep paying for premium.

Every time you make an entry - up-sell ! Hate that. If you enter a meal manually it doesn't rate it with carbs, fats etc... You can only choose one of their recipes that's similar to what you ate if you buy premium, otherwise no. so what food is this app??? Won't help you track your carbs, calories, fats etc. per meal, which is the whole reason I wanted the app.
