Compass 3D transforms Your phone or tablet in to compass with 3D augmented reality that is really simple to use. Use it just as real compass. To find out azimuth of an object, or Your current heading, on your hiking, sailing or other trip, level it up and point it in your direction.
It uses accelerometer sensor to help you test (almost) any object for plumb / level, measuring angles of slope, elevation or inclination of an object with respect to gravity. It can be also used as 3-axis spirit level (bubble level, carpenter's level, inclinometer).

Compass accuracy depends on the hardware. Iron and steel objects can influence the magnetic sensor in your device, causing compass to point in the wrong direction.

Compass calibration:
To calibrate compass hold the phone or tablet with the display facing the upwards and execute a 8 shape with the phone. Repeat the movement with the display facing to you. Repeat procedure several times to perform compass calibration.
