Description

Traditional compass with nice, clean design. The north and south needles and the dial of degrees rotates depending on the movement of your device. The app requires a magnetic sensor to be able to operate. Calibration of the magnetic sensor is essential for good accuracy and the current calibration status can be seen in a gauge in the lower right corner. Click this gauge for more information about the calibration process. The compass housing has a orientation arrow pointing in the forward direction for the device, this can be used for compass direction readings.

★★☆☆☆ Did not maintain anything close to north Despite a good (middle green) calibration state the compass could not fix on a position for north. And it wasn't a small variation it was ± 90 degrees.
