This is a great app for learning how to read music. Even if you have no experience reading music, the drills in the app increase in difficulty at a very comfortable pace, and you pick it up in no time. Repetition is key, and you can redo all the drills as many times as you want since the notes are randomized each time you start a drill. While the app does have milestones or achievements to unlock, the real focus is simply learning to read sheet music practically and it works!

Great app for learning musical notes. Absolutely no ads in preview (which limits to treble clef), Very clean UI, Midi support etc. I decided to buy the full version after the treble clef since it's very affordable...

Good to relearn sheet music. I just don't like how the notes are arranged where middle C is the lowest note on the keyboard but technically higher on the other notes. It throws me off a bit, so I like to use an actual piano or keyboard

2 seconds in, at least with the bass clef, the piano is backwards. C is the higher note but is on the left. Maybe for "training" but if you are playing a higher note it needs to be on the right of the lower G.

Each drill starts so quickly that I miss the first 2 notes, & then I am behind & frustrated for the rest of the drill. It feels like Lucy & Ethel in the candy factory. Even though I easily recognize a G and a C note, I end up with a low score. And there is no way to slow the drill-down. Also, it is distracting to have a high C on the staff, but only middle C available to select on the keyboard. I wanted to practice the notes above & below the staff, but uninstalled.

I'm not sure how anyone can learn music from random notes without some kind of melody. It's painful playing this game. It's almost impossible to hear the connection between notes when they are pushed at you at random without the slightest hint of musical flare. The app had potential at first, but as you progress it really needs to be songs you're learning not just finding notes on a staff. What's the point of learning musical theory without it being related to music. Really weird.

I found only 1st level of treble clef easy to learn. Not sure why app notifications are forcefully disabled for this music learning app. It would be good if there is an option to view piano keyboard notes information whether it's C or C#, D or D# like wise. If setting (checkbox) is enabled to view keyboard notes of piano.
