To pair your phone to the Nissan Tailgate Audio Kicker. Step one, press the little circular button that says 'PAIR' until the blue light is lit in BT mode. Step 2, then with your thumbnail, hold down the PAIR button until the blue BT light starts to blink. Now go to Bluetooth on your phone and start a scan to search for a Bluetooth device. ONLY pair to 'NISSAN TG AUDIO'. Then you will be able to go on YouTube and stream any song you want! You don't need the app!

Was not easy but I got it figured out. Pair the speaker like how you would normally (power on, press mode button for 2 seconds til blue light blinks, locate speaker in list-for me it is BF400 KICKER, select it and finish by agreeing to pair. Now once you do that open the CONNECT app & look towards the top where it reads DEVICE STATUS, wait for it to read READY. Actually once it is ready the screen will change, and now you will have access to the speaker via the app. If fails press reset on spkr.

This app does not work with Android phones or tablets. It will not connect. Please help.

Speaker doesn't actually play music through Bluetooth. It will connect to your phone, but you can't stream music from your phone to the speaker. Kicker leads you to believe that this is possible. Intentionally misleading.
