Comments on Contacts' Birthdays for Android

★★★★★ Steve Palmer · Jun 25, 2024

Superb! A great app. Does everything I need. Love the customization options too!

★★★★☆ Derek Headlam · Sep 7, 2026

I've been using this app for a few years now, and it works great. It would be great if the could include a day counter as well.

★★★★☆ Todd Jahns · Jun 21, 2025

Was working great, but since I upgraded to Android 16, the Widget doesn't work. The widget works initially but eventually ends up just blank. I have to remove the widget and re-add it, and it's fine again for a little while. Kind of disappointing. No other app out there is as good as this one. Ok the plus side, the app itself still works, as do notifications, so I don't miss anything, but I do like seeing the upcoming list on my home screen. Hoping for a fix soon!

★★★★★ Alexander Ryabtsev · Jun 6, 2025

It's almost the perfect app I was looking for a really long period of time. Previously I've used Birthday Countdown, but it's not supported anymore. I don't understand at the beginning that there is a scroll in the home screen widget, and you can make the widget vertical size bigger to see more than one contact. Maybe as an improvement the developer can implement a more "dense" widget with a face and date/age on it to show four faces in a row. But even like this it's a very good app. Thank you!

★★☆☆☆ Simon Wilkinson · Oct 13, 2025

Never had a problem before but something very recently has changed and the widget for this app keeps randomly showing 'no events' until I touch it, then it updates abd correctly shows my contacts birthdays again. Also has the exact same problem on my wife's phone.

★★☆☆☆ Andy R · Jun 21, 2025

It's not posting push notifications although I have set it to unrestricted battery mode on Samsung S21 and notifications are allowed. Very weird. Don't know what's happening

★☆☆☆☆ Dusan Hrnciar · Apr 25, 2026

Since few updates back the widget doesn't refresh correctly and shows events one day behind.

★☆☆☆☆ CM · Oct 15, 2025

Since the latest update, the widget on the homepage is blank. You have to touch the widget to make it display. But shortly afterward goes blank again.
