Control4 for OS 2

★★★★★ Love this app. Works great with all my devices all from one location. Better than savant, rti, Creston URC... you name it!

★★★★★ App fine except no cover art for my music albums all albums named but just represented with a clapper board icon - am I running os2 v 2.10.4.5533.... Am I running app on android fire 10 tablets - have an older samsung tab running previous version of this C4 app and picks up the cover art etc. perfectly !!

★★☆☆☆ Pretty clunky and slow. Issue: when choosing to listen to Pandora through the Control 4 app while already listening on the Pandora app, it opens a new instance of Pandora instead of pulling the stream from the app (like Spotify does). You can have the same Pandora station playing one song on your phone and another through the Control 4 system at the same time. Very annoying.

★★☆☆☆ Very complicated No one can use but me. Remote doesn't work at all. Cant make any changes or fixes. Must contact Control 4 dealer. Guy who installed it sold me obsolete components he had in inventory. He doesn't respond at all. Contacted other dealers. They all want me to spend thousands upgrading and all it is a whole house music system. New dealer was going to sell me a system that won't connect to Spotify which is my main go to.

★★☆☆☆ Installing Control4 was a huge and costly mistake. First, the hardware has been very unreliable and expensive. Multiple device fails including a DS2 door station. Second, you are locked into the dealer ecosystem which is expensive and variable in quality. The dealers constantly try to upsell new hardware. Third, Control4 direct support is very poor. They pass you on to dealer or supply very unhelpful responses. Fourth, you have too little control over your own expensive AV system.
