Comments on ControlR for Android

★★★★☆ Ryan S · Dec 27, 2021

App was great prior to refresh. Now the setting for background update is missing (or hard to find?), making it almost useless for monitoring CPU/ram usage. Reliably connects to my server but does not reliably show UPS status, temps, unassigned drives, or logs.

Had problems with ControlR saving my server. Publisher helped me resolve the issue. The problem was with Let's Encrypt SSL ControlR now uses the standard SSL port 443 not the port set for ControlR on unRAID. Thank you.

★★★★★ Christoff Bothma · Apr 10, 2023

Works great, can se basic stuff and can restart my docker containers. Thanks for this

★★★★☆ Marcus Hill · Oct 11, 2024

Edit: updating this as I found that the cause for issues I was having was that the plugin had disabled itself within Unraid. It was still partially working which is why I didn't suspect that as a cause (assumed the plugin was mandatory for all functionality). Would be good if there was a check within the app for this. It's a good app, and I hope that the developer continues to add features and improve the UX.

Pricey app that leaves much to be desired. The UI does look nice, and there seems to be much more information than other apps. However, two things stick out to me. 1. There is no refresh function on main server page. I was waiting for a parity refresh to finish and the screen didn't update for hours. 2. There are tabs to go to webui in docker says coming soon. Look I get you are still adding features, but for a $5 app, I think it should be done.

App does not work. States that server is offline. This app is also not refundable.

★★☆☆☆ De Ni · Oct 4, 2019

Are these ratings all fake? This app is not good in any way. The ui is just awful, and it has like 5 functions that's it. No replacement for the web UI at all.

★☆☆☆☆ Sheldz · Apr 29, 2021

How can you make us pay for an app that doesn't even work? I can't even add my unRAID server.
