Would be a 4–5-star app, but now 1 star due to the recent removal of the 'Road Preferences' feature. The ability to favor main roads and avoid rural routes was its key advantage. Without it, the app loses its value—especially as free alternatives offer similar routing. Please restore this feature. **Feature seems to be restored again in August 2026, so I have increased my review score accordingly. I want to thank the developers for bringing back the 'Road Preferences' feature.

Just used it for 2 days so far, before I was using sygic truck, but Copilot has better guidance as better road exits and proper signs. I really like it.

So grateful for this app. Was driving through dead zone cell area and could not get my phone Nav to get me a map or location, despite programming it and was using it in the middle of my trip. Would like to see it zoom in and out to see more maps and where you are going, like Google Maps.

Disappointed. Had high hopes for this app after trialing two apps as a family towing a caravan. I actually like the interface but in spite of AI generated results suggesting there is a setting to avoid steep inclines this app guided us up a 1:16. Had to drop into 1st gear and the engine of our 2L diesel 4x4 still struggled. Incredibly stressful. Now it's trying to route us up Sutton Bank - caravan banned route! No way to set to not do this. Yes I have told it I'm towing and dimensions etc.

I used CoPilot for car navigation to have more flexibility than my car's internal satnav functionality, and for primary motorcycle navigation. However, the removal of the 'road preferences' feature renders this app obsolete in my opinion. I feel more and more features are being removed, but cannot be entirely sure (as I've only been using CoPilot occasionally the last years). App crashes occasionally, removal of unique features, not recommended anymore.

Now you've got rid of road preferences! How does it know not to route down an old farm track. They're shown on the maps and the routes it picks aren't always the best anyway
