Couchkey: TV Remote

Lost the remote again? Couchkey turns your phone into a fast, one-handed remote for your smart TV, over your home Wi-Fi.

NO SUBSCRIPTION
The full remote is free. Couchkey Pro is a single, one-time purchase.

WORKS WITH
• LG webOS smart TVs: tested on a real LG TV
• Samsung smart TVs (2016 and newer): beta
• Roku TVs and Roku streaming players: beta
Samsung and Roku support is in beta. It follows each maker's own remote-control protocol but has not yet been tested on every model. If your TV does not react, the "Report a problem" button opens an email to us with your TV's model, so we can fix it.
Your TV must be switched on and connected to the SAME Wi-Fi network as your phone. Couchkey does not use infrared, so it cannot control older TVs that are not smart TVs.

IT WORKS BEFORE YOU PAY ANYTHING
Couchkey finds your TV, connects, and asks you to press one test button. Only when your TV reacts do you get the remote: no ads and no sales pitch before it works.

PRIVATE
No account and no server. Couchkey talks only to your TV, on your own network.

Can't find your TV? The app explains the usual reasons: a guest Wi-Fi network, a VPN, or a router that keeps devices apart.

Couchkey is an independent app. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Samsung, LG or Roku; the names are used only to say which TVs it works with.
