I've enjoyed the friendly Counter Social community for a couple of years. The site is ad-free and there is no algorithm controlling what you see; users shape their own experience. With a vigilant administrator, trolls, scammers, and harassers are swiftly handled. User data isn't collected or sold and the basic site is free. I love this app so much! There is no better social media app or community period. No FOMO with COSO ever. And it's the only place to be when real time events happen if you want to be informed. No trolls, no bots to worry about, seriously the best moderation on the World Wide Web. Which makes for an awesome community of real people. Oh and no ads, no algorithm, no data farming. How nice to be part of a social where they care about my privacy. Lots of extra cool features for pro accounts too.

The service per se is not bad *in infrastructure* but the people that escape of X to this service does. If you love and support the American left wing agenda go here. (lost 1 star) Non-American people is just plain ignored unless they post memes. Also find friends, news, interesting topics is really limited for their design (this made lost 3 stars). Help is confusing. I love that none mod was there for help, but now they are offended of this opinion and reply within 1 minute after post. Bye!

They welcome trolls and bigotry. This app loves propaganda and misinformation. The direct message feature is broken. Do not download. I was on this app for a whole day amd they banned me for nothing amd didn't even tell me in the email why I was banned apps like this that don't give a reason for what they banned u for are bound to lose more people like me cause of how strict they are with thing on their apps yeah u may have anti-stalking amd all that but u need to give a reason for Banning your users to your apps too not just banned them and expect them to know what they got banned for how Pathetic don't download this app
