Coursera as a personal development and education site is the best place I can endorse for pursuing your career. The app on the other hand, seriously needs a refresh function. The courses I do on either the phone or browser don't reflect in the app properly. My completed course, notes and progress don't refresh for hours on the app. I hope the Coursera app dev team can fix this user experience bug. I can't recommend the app otherwise

I thought the course is free, and you need to pay if you want a certificate, but it became Spotify and Netflix.

A catastrophic user experience, most of the courses are not included in the plus subscription 😕, limited access to the included courses, few years ago it was the best MOOC platform, it's a sad story about falling down from top to bottom 😭

They push, push and pushed the "Free" course and what it will accomplish for you and your career. Nothing was mentioned until after I gave them my info, and then it became a 7-day free trial. Maybe I missed where it stated that or just overlooked it, I don't know. I am human and I make mistakes. I'm also very unemployed and broke! Broke enough to know that I couldn't afford something like this. So I don't know.

I had enrolled in a SQL course. They had provided a copy of code, which was to be pasted on the software. THE CODE WAS FAULTY; for e.g. insert statement was wrong, where the error showed that the column can't be inserted directly as it is a computed column. I'm still trying to find a solution to this using AI, because until I rectify this error, I can't proceed with other codes. There's no helpline to even ask regarding this, on coursera. I have to find solutions using my AI source every time?
