Description
Hunt enemy convoys, battle destroyers, attack land bases, and shoot down aircraft in this long-awaited sequel to the best-selling "Crash Dive".
Take command of a Gato-class submarine prowling the South Pacific in search of enemy shipping to sink.
Sneak past the destroyers and torpedo the transports, or surface and engage the sub-chasers in a duel with your deck gun.
When the enemy planes come in on a strafing run, man your AA guns to take them down!
Evade the hunting escorts before they can crush you with their depth charges.
Features: * Smoothly blends a submarine simulator with arcade action. * Provides the tools for both stealth and offense; you decide how aggressive you want to be. * Full day/night cycle and wide range of weather conditions affect visibility and weapons. * Crew health and location-based damage affects the performance of your sub. * Optional crew management and detailed damage control (or let the computer take care of that for you). * Optional upgrade tech tree for your sub (can also be left to the AI). * Lengthy campaign mode. * Random mission generator for deep replayability. * Both randomly-generated maps and real-world locales including the Solomon Islands, Philippines, Sea of Japan, and more! * Built-in modding editor lets you change every aspect of the game.
Recent changes: • Alert whistle will now sound when a previously-spotted enemy comes back into visual range if contact had been fully lost (chart marker was removed) • Fixed bug where Waiting in Place while on a “Sink the Target Ship” side mission would cause all escorts to run off and disappear • Modding: Fixed “Patrol Plane Density Night Mult” not actually doing anything

I'll start by saying that I purchased the game and have found it to be a worthwhile purchase. This game is exactly what I was looking for. If you are a fan of the old submarine computer games like Silent Hunter, you will likely enjoy this game. I can play this game for hours at a time and still be eager to play it again another day. There are multiple game modes and achievements to work towards. There are upgrades for the sub that you buy with your score earnings. I recommend this game to you.

The Crash Dive series (1 and 2) are by far the best submarine games out there.

I took graphic arts in college in mid-seventies ~ somehow game agent designer choose the worst Fonts on the planet. Making Reader glasses the only choice, to see what micro instructions say. Micro Panel Instruments, if Pop Outs, to see clearly what they are, touching panel. Was this game designed for PC, then forced into small phone screen? Regardless, forced to scrub game from phone. If simple Arcade style, w/o all the complex Industrial Nonsense. It's not Flight Sim. Cheers

Realism Please. This could be a great game, but the developers seem to think that the Japanese Navy had 1000s of Destroyers and Sub Chasers. I would much rather have a realistic number of navy vessels Vs commercial vessels, rather than being able to sink 5 Battleships each patrol and dodge the 2 Destroyers and 3 Sub Chasers that escort each small tanker. Edit - Was 2 stars but now 1 after advice from the developers - know your game - you can't change the frequency of Escorts only to the type.
