This app email client is fantastic, but I think the developers have abandoned it and haven't updated it for Android 14 it just won't install I'm pretty sure the developers have abandoned this project due to law enforcement issues, but this app needs serious updating

Noticed a while back that there was like one month of email that didn't download. Although phone memory was getting full. Apears to download emails to your internal memory. So if you get a lot of email and don't delete it can hog up your internal memory. Although did notice a firmly on Google Drive for this app but don't know how to download if I were to switch phones. I did miss a lot of emails. And when taping to archive emails I noticed that there was not an archive folder! So where are they?

I really like the app. I got a new phone. Tried to transfer. It didn't. Lost everything. Got a ticket in. You should be aware Google is preventing people from downloading this app. It's the same phone as mine, but Google says it's for an older device. Got a screenshot for you. I hate Google. But Criptext is awesome as long as you don't have a hiccup transferring your inbox. Would really be great to get my emails back. 😉

Amazing app in theory, in practice it almost seems like abandonware. The latest email they sent everyone didn't really fill me with confidence either. However, I think in the end something could come of this. Assuming it's not abandoned, that is. The latest email the developers sent out can be read at Reddit, and I'd suggest checking it out before you sign up for Criptext.

What's the point of offering an email app if there's no option to open an actual account?! What a waste of time and store space.

ATTENTION: Criptext MUST be more clear about the collecting data / info policy. Attachments are stored encrypted on AWS, (AMAZON WEB SERVER) . Limit is 25Mb per email. Would be magic if criptext would also allow us to send encrypted voice message or encrypted calls to other providers, They use AES encryption, yes, but only 128 bit, unfortunately. The costumer support is nice and reply pretty fast. WOUL BE GREAT IF WE CAN SEND ENCRYPTED EMAILS TO GMAIL, ETC...
