Comments on Critical Maps for Android

★★★★☆ Martin Macko · Jun 18, 2024

Works as described, assuming somebody has the app turned on during the ride. Minus 1 star for this annoying zooming out when phone is locked and then unlocked back. The app should remember last zoom and position.

★★★★★ Maurice Hage · May 27, 2016

Great event tracking map This night at Berlin's Critical Mass May ride this app helped us navigate to the group several times. It's great for orientation!

★★★★☆ Thomas Guyot-Sionnest · Feb 1, 2025

A must to participate in critical mass. I took a star away because the photo function doesn't work as expected. I like to pin the app to have quick access during the ride and all photos I took failed to upload, and weren't in my library either. I would like the photo app to work just like the regular photo app which I cannot bring up while the app is pinned: save to library and then maybe upload the photo in the app... I just want to be able to take photos without unpinning the app.

★★★★★ Elazar Pimentel · Sep 4, 2023

Suggestions: 1)eliminate rotation when zooming 2) Add login, I know we are all Critical Mass, but it would rock to follow the people up front, and not the person going home. 3) Add different color for people leading. 4) Add icon for resting place, so we can meet in next resting place for group.

2026 Version 3.1.0 keeps stopping. App is not operational. Stopps immediately. (location enabled) older versions worked marvelous.

Zooming in and out messes up the map orientation
